Belated Mother's Day gift katanya

Last month, I wanted to get myself a new handbag. I found one that I wanted but honestly, I was halfheartedly in purchasing it. Memangkan memang dah niat nak beli so I decided to get it anyway. Tapi sebelum di belinya bag itu, I got my husband's second opinion. Memang sudah kebiasaan untuk mendapat second opinion from Izwan and he rejected the idea. Obviously, memang frust menonggeng lah member. I told my disappointment to him sebab the reason why I wanted to get the bag is because it is for all the hard-work that I put myself in. Duit bonus so I wanted to reward myself with something beautiful.

Dengan ketidakpuasan hati itu, Izwan promised to get me a ring.

Why ring?

Dulu, I always wanted Izwan to get me a new ring sebab he never really buy me anything. Baik anniversary ke, birthday ke memang tak pernah lah dia beli. He is just not romantic that way. Selalulah dia di asak untuk mendapatkan sebentuk cincin. To be honest, I like to annoy him with such request coz I know he will never buy it for me. And I am not that type of person who like to ask the husband to buy me stuff. I buy my own stuff. So entah kenapa, he agrees to the idea and today, he bought me the ring.

Rasa macam nak kahwin pulak dapat cincin. What ever it is, Alhamdulillah, rezeki Allah kasi. Izwan is not a romantic person. I guess this is just one way of him saying his apology. So yes, apology accepted :)

I am one happy wife.

For better or for worse

We celebrated our 5th anniversary last January. Pejam celik, pejam celik dah 5 tahun berumahtangga. And I must say, it is not easy to sustain a marriage; to sustain my marriage. It's true when they say, you only know your partner only when you sleep, shit and eat together.

Within this 5 years of being together, we have our fair share of ups and downs. It is nothing compared to the ones we had during our 5 years of "courting". The fights, the laughters, the disagreements, the happiness; they are all different. I learned a lot through it. I believe I'm more matured through it.

So what I gained from this 5 years of marriage. A lot, a hell lot!

In all honestly, this marriage is so powerful coz at times, it able to pull my self-esteem down. It demotivates me to the level where I feel like I want to run away from everything and everyone. It also gives me the disappointment feeling which I have never felt before in my life. Despite the negativity, it is so wonderful that it able to change me to the most happiest person on earth just within split seconds. It motivates me to improve myself to be a better person. It teaches me patience. It teaches me to see things in a bigger perspective. It gives me courage to change myself to be a better person. The feeling is so .... priceless.

5 years, we almost lost it all. But I'm glad we are able to pull ourselves together and still holding our hands strong. I guess, it is a learning process for both of us. We need to understand each other better; our wants and needs. We have to understand that marriage is a team work. It is not a one person's job. It's a lifetime commitment between two person who believe in each other, that promise to be with each other through ups and downs; for better or for worse.

Hidup senang bersama memang senang to achieve tapi hidup susah bersama adalah cabaran sebenar.

Beribu Sesalan

Ku susuri, malam ini
Yang tidak berbintang, sunyi sepi
Juga rembulan, dan menghilang
Dalam kelam ku sendiri

Ku mencari, hembus bayu
Yang selalu berbisik, madah rindu
Kini membisu dalam sayu
Tidak ku temu suaramu

Kekasihku di jalanan yang berliku

Di saat ku perlukanmu
Tertutup jua segalanya terhadapmu

Di sini, ku tersedu-sedu
Setelah cinta pergi
Ku mengusung duka ini diiringi
Kisah janji, dimungkiri lagi

Sia-Siaku
Mencintaimu
Setia Padamu
Percayakanmu
Sebak dadaku
Retak hatiku
Luka jiwaku
Dihiris pilu

A good wife

I was washing my husband's shirt (yes, I hand-wash my husband's shirts & my blouses) when it hits me with a question - what does it takes to be a good wife?

We've been married for nearly 3 years now. Masih mentah and there are still a lot of things that we need to learn and to understand about each other. Although, we have known each other for nearly 8 years now but that doesn't mean that we know each other inside and out. Masih banyak kelemahan and kekurangan diri yang masih perlu dipelajari. But within this 3 years of marriage, never have I once called myself a good wife. I am far from being a good wife to my husband, not even close!

We are both a working parent. My husband is a Political Journalist hence his time is spend mostly working on his assignments. As a wife, I try to help as much as I can to manage our family although being a working person, a mother and a student all at the same time is tough and tiring but here I am still standing, Alhamdulillah. And with the help I get from Iman's nanny - my helpful helper, kuranglah sikit beban. I get to do all the house chores over the weekend while she help me to look after Iman. Saturday is the only day where I can do the house work - laundry, cleaning and whatnot tanpa gangguan Iman yang comel itu (eh, tiba-tiba). My point is, by doing house chores doesn't mean that I am a good wife right?!

They say a happy marriage starts with the husband's tummy and also a good sex life. Oh yes kids, sex in a marriage is very important. Go ask around if you don't believe me. The increase of divorce rate is all because of unhappy sex life. But I'm not here to write about my sex life. Nanti kena label as porno blog pulak tak pasal.

To be honest, I rarely, very rarely cook for my husband. We are staying with my parents hence all the cooking is done by my mother. I will only do the cooking if my parents are not around or they requested for pasta. With this, I don't think my husband's tummy is happy though I positively think the tummy is happier with the delicious food that my mom prepared for us. This is another example of me being a bad wife.

We made into a fight recently. Biasalah, rumahtangga mestilah bergaduh but I took it very emotionally and made a fool of myself. I turned myself into a very stubborn person and choose my emotion and not being rationale about it. This is the one thing that I regret the most. Tiap-tiap hari rasa bersalah. I am not going to write what I did to my husband but clearly what I did was wrong dan sebagai seorang isteri, perbuatan itu adalah berdosa.

With this, clearly I am not a good wife. But then again, what does it takes to be a good wife?

Marriage 101

I've been wanting to post about it tapi selalu je terlupa and since I have all the time in the world today which is rarely happened to me especially during office hour, I say why not update blog just to kill time. And, not that I'm any better at it, kahwin pon baru setahun dua jagung dan tidaklah hebat untuk memberi advise to anyone who needs it but I believe a simple "rule of thumb" can be applied by anyone be it yang baru kahwin atau dah berkahwin untuk berpuluh-puluh tahun.

By this, I'm not saying that I have the most perfect marriage in life yang baru sahaja mencecah 2 tahun January lalu. I can say that my marriage is not as romantic as any other couples who just reached 2 years of being together. I don't have a romantic husband and I'm not romantic either. So, tidaklah romantik jadinya but this is who we are. We find romantic in a different way, our own ways.

Marrying someone who you knew for 8 years doesn't make it any easier. You may say that hey, you probably have known the person inside out that will make your marriage life "easier" but girl, I must say that it is even harder than you think. You thought you know that person inside out but when you finally BE with each other, semua segala toceng, kentut time tidur semua keluar. And only then, you will realize that you actually know nothing about your partner. Betulkan?

It's a challenge actually to make sure that your relationship with your partner is as harmony as possible. Dapat isteri macam saya yang kurang daya kesabaran kena lah dapat suami yang penuh kesabaran macam suami saya. You see, I've never knew that my husband (boyfriend then) can be very sabar especially when he has to deal with a person like me. I am stubborn, very very stubborn. We used to argue very much even till now we still are. And I can be very dramatic when it comes to argument. Kalau dulu, memang dah kena tinggal dah tapi dia sabar. Not to puji but I really envy his patience. With that, I have to make sure that our relationship tak boring. Not that we are the interesting type of people but when you tend to be with a partner whom you have been with for years, boring tuh mesti ada. So, tak kan nak suruh suami boring dengan kita kot! And you have to bare in mind that marriage is forever bukan untuk sehari dua saja.

I got to confess that at times, I do feel like staying alone - to be just with myself tapi kita kena istiqammah and berfikir kenapa kita bersetuju untuk diijabkabulkan dan atas niat apa kita menjalinkan perkahwinan. Hence, I've come to a conclusion of not to just be selfish and start thinking about my partner - my husband's feeling. And most importantly is to be patience. Kalau Izwan boleh bersabar kenapa Ajlaa tidak boleh? After all, I'm in this together with him. Kalau satu orang sahaja yang bekerja mestilah tak jadi bukan? I have to work together with my husband and BE PATIENCE!

Orang cakap when you married your partner it means you are actually marrying his/her whole family which is true. Kadang-kadang masalah keluarga suami pon boleh jadi satu masalah kepada diri sendiri. With that, you  need to always have a good relationship with your in-laws. Alhamdulillah, I don't have problem with this. Memandangkan I'm staying with my parents, I have to make sure that my husband and my family are in a good relationship else I will be having a huge problem. Yes, menjaga hati kedua-dua belah pihak amatlah susah kadang-kadang kena sampai makan hati sendiri but that is the perks of being married. And always, always treat your sister/brother in-law as if they are your own flesh and blood. Lagipon, dalam agama pon hukumnya seperti adik-beradik sendiri. So, yes never set boundaries between you and your in-laws. Boleh ada problem besar jadinya.

1 thing good about me (bukanlah nak puji diri sendiri) is that I tak pernah berkira especially when it comes to $$$. I always remind my husband that kita berdua bekerja and we earn our own money. Apa salahnya bersusah senang bersama and Alhamdulillah this is what we practice. Of course, living in this world need you to have $$$. Kadang-kadang takde duit boleh bercerai-berai but Alhamdulillah we managed to control our financial especially now that we have Iman, financial can be very crucial but Alhamdulillah, syukur for the rezeki.

One thing that I always keep in mind is that to never stop communicating with my partner. Macam mana sebok pon at least we communicate even if it has to be on mobile. Having a husband who works around the clock mengalahkan Perdana Menteri sometimes memang susah nak berjumpa. Jumpa bila atas katil itupon if he is lucky that I am still awake. Normally, he'll be home when I'm already asleep or half asleep. Jadi, komunikasi kami sangatlah limited. With that lack of communication leads us to so many problem kadang-kadang gaduh tak tentu pasal and it creates boundaries between you and your partner. And that also leads you to finding other person to be your "talking partner" which will eventually be the biggest problem in your relationship.  And never, never to start looking for other person untuk jadi tempat meluahkan perasaan. You don't know what you're getting yourself into. People may take advantage of you. So yes, never stop communicating. Communication is the key to a success relationship and I believe that!

A core factor of keeping a happy marriage is TRUST! You just need to trust your partner. After all, dah kahwin kan? Macam mana boleh tak trust your own partner. This one is for you to determine sebab ini melibatkan hati dan perasaan. I've been cheated once and I have a trust problem. Whether I like it or not, I have to overcome this in order for me to create a happy marriage.

So, there you go. Tips panjang lebar daripada Ajlaa. It's a way of me reminding myself of my own marriage. It's not going to be easy. Tak ada benda dalam dunia nih yang sentiasa bahagia. It's how you put yourself into it and how you overcome it.

Kalau niat kerana Allah, Insyaallah segalanya akan diberkati. Amin.

Eternity

Prior to below post, I believe this song suits it all. Trying not to be too kinky but who am I kidding? There's still  a jiwang side of me hiding somewhere underneath this serious looking girl, Lol! Love you husband :)

Oh! Watched the movie but it's not to my liking and I seriously don't understand why some people cried or going head over heels over the movie. I seriously don't get it. Nasib baik download aje! Jimat duit den.

But the song is to die for! Ah, jiwang.

Anyways, have a great day lovebirds.

365 days

A year ago, Izwan and I, we were officially announced as husband and wife witnessed by family members and close friends.

Today, with an additional member of our small family, it makes our Anniversary a joyous one, though I'm on kain batik and on 44 days mission of "berpantang".

With our bundle of joy, Iman Alexandria

I was in the midst of bf-ing Iman when Izwan forced me, yes forced me to go to the kitchen at 12am sharp, 15 January 2012 with a slice of Indulgence and bouquet of roses on the table.

Oh dear husband,

Though we were in the midst of "disagreement", it was so sweet of you to give me that bouquet of roses. It was out of ordinary of you to do such thing - for the fact that you usually forget on all the important dates of ours but you didn't forget our first anniversary.

Firstly, thank you for being my husband. Though I may not be the best wife in the world for you for the fact that my stubbornness pisses you off most of the time but please know that you mean the world to me. Thank you for being so patient with me and to stand by me when I needed you the most. Thank you for being the best friend I've ever had by being the most understanding. Most of all, thank you for being YOU though you annoy the hell out of me but hey, that's what made me love you.

I'm not good with words and I have not expressed my love to you that much but my love for you is eternity. May this love we build for each other last forever.

Love much,
Your stubborn wife.

2012 & 40 Hari Berpantang

Celebrated new year at the hospital crying my lungs out seeing Iman laying in the Incubator crying for help. Her Jaundice reading was a bit high on the 4th day.

Started berpantang the minute I arrived home after giving birth. Ini tak boleh makan, itu tak boleh makan, minum air ini, mandi air daun itu but knowing me, I make my own berpantang rules. As long as it's not harmful and logical to do/apply to my body - I have no objection to follow. But if it's ridiculously unreasonably tiada logika (read: strictly no-no) to apply, I, in any chance will not follow.

But then again, who doesn't want to have a flat tummy with nice shape-curvy body after 9 months being flabby and HUGE.

Call me crazy but I constantly checking my working mails in between bf-ing and putting Iman to sleep. There's even times when I feel like going to the office and start working. It's only been 7 days and I already feeling restless staying at home doing nothing. 33 more days to go. Manusia, bila suruh kerja nak cuti, bila dapat cuti nak kerja pula.

I was supposed to have as much rest as I can have during confinement tapi macam tak berhasil je. I just don't know how to sit still.

Ohh bf-ing can be so challenging especially when your baby refuses to drink and choose to sleep instead. Nak kejutkan satu hal, nak suruh minum satu hal. It's even worst when your baby is a night person - drink and play during odd hours (3am onwards). Mencabar minda!

My husband is being over-protective over his daughter. Nak buat macam mana, dah menunjukkan ciri-ciri anak Papa.

I want to go shopping but I can't. Sigh!

I'm bored but I have no choice. Double sigh!

Gotta stop now, it's time to bf the baby. Gotta prep myself before she screams for milk.

Toddles.

Maal Hijrah

Yesterday marked the end of the year in the Islamic calender.

I'm glad that I'm able to perform Maghrib and Isya' with Izwan berjemaah and recited Yassin in between both solat. We don't really get the chance to perform solat together everyday. Once a week pon kadang-kadang susah nak solat berjemaah bersama but Alhamdulillah, yesterday we were given the opportunity to perform solat together. Syukur.

I'm glad that I'm able to celebrate the new year with my loved ones; family and lil cousins under the same roof. My favourite 3 musketeers were here yesterday having dinner and messing around maklang's house as if it was theirs. Huru-hara haru biru dibuatnya but it was all good.

I'm glad that I'm caring a healthy growing chubby looking baby inside me. Alhamdulillah. I'm very much excited to meet my baby in less than 5 weeks time Insyaallah. Woohoo!

I'm glad that I'm able to breath and live the life that I've always wanted - to have a very supportive parents (though sometimes I can never really understand them), a very sporting husband (who annoys the hell out of me), a very much emotional sister (she has a very good heart, nevertheless), cool in-laws, to have a stable life (though work do give me headache most of the time) and friends who are there when I needed them the most. Syukur Alhamdulillah for the rezki and rahmah.

There are so many things to be thankful for and I hope that this new year brings happiness and fill with love and rezki yang dirahmati, Amin.

I do not have resolutions as I never really follow. But I hope this new year brings happiness to all of us and menjadi tahun yang lebih baik kepada kita semua. Amin.

11.11.11

It's a good/pretty number that everyone's crazy for. Some (I mean like a lot of people) got married/engaged, giving birth to a newborn child; basically did things that's memorable to them that shall never be forgotten as the date itself is very special that comes rarely even in a million years.

I bet you've read them all in the newspapers/heard them over the news of great events happening on that day. And I have my share of not so great event happening on that significant date too.

My husband had to undergo a not so major surgery to remove the steels and screws that have been living under his skin, attached to his right leg for the past 5 years on this beautiful date. All this surgery decision was made spontaneously a day before because he was too bored staying at home practically doing nothing for having a 10 days leave. He decided to make a visit to the hospital for a consultation and looking through the condition of the bone structure, the doctor agreed to make the surgery on the next day.

11.11.11 was the date I have to wait at the OT's waiting room for nearly 3 hours as my husband was in the operation theater having his leg cut open.

Husband after the surgery. High on morphine.

So there I was practically living at Ampang Puteri for 3 nights accompanying my husband. Bak kata orang utara, cemuih aih!

The screws that have been attached to Izwan's leg for the past 5 years.

Alhamdulillah that the surgery went well with no complications.

Now, this pregnant lady has to look after her husband to make sure that the husband is fully recovered sebab si sang suami adalah seorang makhluk yang super ketegaq.

I'm tired and I need my rest. Sayonara!

Randomism

I've been dreaming about work every night whole of this week and it's freaking me out. I have a life yo! Work isn't just the life I lived in. Kerja, Kerja, go away!

It's pretty amazing to be able to feel the movement of the little person inside you every day and every night. The kind of feeling that can never be expressed in any ways.

It's hard to explain to your partner the feelings you have and the pain you feel during pregnancy. Oh, how I wish that men could experience being pregnant even just for a day so they'll know how physically and emotionally challenged pregnant women are. But I still give credit to the husband though, for keeping up with his super crazy-pregnant wife. So husband, a big kiss thank you to you *muaaahhhhh*

An additional member to the family tree. Alhamdulillah and congratulations :)

I seriously don't understand why kids nowadays hate going to school. I remember loving school so much. It's the thing I look-forward to every day. I love my schooling days. Care-free!

I miss Penang. I miss the weather, the beach, the cheap dvds, Feringhi night market, the ride to Feringhi, the evening drive to the beach, the food (oh, the food!), the night life and every dirty places that Penang has. Amat kerinduan. I miss my Penang life, like very much!

If only I can start my maternity leave now. Sigh!

Ramadan ke-3

How's Ramadan for you so far? Mine, Alhamdulillah, today is the third day for me and I hope I'm able to puasa healthily for the next 26 days but on the sad note, I have yet to perform terawih. It's either I reach home late or break fast at the nearby area with Izwan. Since parents are away for umrah, I'm now the responsible wife cooking for her husband and to make sure that my dad's two healthy-fat-cats are feed with ikan kembung rebus. They eat like a lot. Crazy a lot!

But Alhamdulillah, every day is...so far...manageable. I'm allow to leave the office at 5pm everyday during fasting month. But since I'm working on the other side of the world from where I stay, it takes a longer time for me to reach home. I dare not drive during the hour or ask Izwan to fetch me coz boy, the traffic is madness even DUKE highway was bad last couple of days. I rather take the LRT. At least, I can have my quick 45 mins nap in the train. The last time I checked, I reached home at 6.30pm. It was good enough for me to prepare sambal tumis sotong, daging goreng kunyit and fried instant popias mom got me before she left for Umrah as our first day of berbuka meal. But I got very tired at night I fell asleep as early as 9pm hence why I've not been performing terawih yet. Am still adjusting my time so that Izwan and I can berbuka on time and sempat to terawih.

It's a wonderful experience I must say (and tiring too) for the fact that I'm fasting as a wife this year and actually DO wife's job. All these while, mom has been the responsible chef at home. I cook but boleh kira dengan jari berapa kali. Since mom is away for Umrah, I've been cooking every day and I can say that I actually enjoy cooking. Just that, time does not allow me to do so and being pregnant makes you feel tired easily. Oh speaking of which, everyone in the office are not happy with me fasting. They keep on saying that it might harm the baby. Ahh, they are just being too conscious. As long as I take my vitamins every day and eat sufficient food for berbuka and sahur, I should be ok right?! Hey, I'm not going to force myself fasting the whole month, only when my condition permits but so far Alhamdulillah, baby and Ibu are doing fine. I don't want to make pregnancy as an excuse for me to not to berpuasa. As long as both mommy and baby are healthy and in good condition, I don't see the point of not berpuasa-ing. Being pregnant does not hold me from continuing beribadah, right? But lets see how long I can stand berpuasa. Hopefully till the final day of Ramadan-lah!

Ahh on the happy note, we've bought flight tickets to Alor Star for Raya. Big yeay!

Ok now, back to work. Selamat berpuasa kawan-kawan.

6 Months

It's been 6 months since the day Izwan said "Aku terima nikahnya" and I must say that I enjoy every day of my life being a wife though it has not always been on its' brightest but I love each moment that it gives. Benarlah orang kata, bila berumahtangga, rezeki yang datang amat berkat. Rezeki yang datang sungguh tidak disangka-sangka in every possible way.

On top of that, Alhamdulillah, with His blessing, Allah has grant us with an additional member to our small little family. It wasn't part of the plan actually. We never really expect to receive with such gift this fast but last May, the good news came rush in just when I'm about to enter for a client's meeting. I was feeling sick the day before. Knowing me, I felt sick like most of the time. But this time, the feeling was different. My body temperature was like madness for couple of weeks. I thought it was something normal for someone who is as lazy bum as I am to even have a clean shower after work (oh yes, I am very kambing if you must say) but even after having bath, my body still feels the heat.

On one Monday afternoon, the strong instinct of mine was telling me that I might be pregnant for the fact that I can no longer fit my favourite lucky pink work shirt and for having the weirdest dream the night before that I can never explain. I excused myself from the meeting and went straight to Watson which is located next to my office building. I bought the pregnancy kit test. Oh man, it took me more than 30 minutes to decide on which brand I should buy. I took the most expensive one in the name of accuracy (padehal semua pregnancy kit pon sama je). So there I was sitting on the toilet bowl figuring out how to use it. The 2 lines started to appear after 3 minutes of uneasy wait and I couldn't be happier with the results. Told Izwan and we went straight to Gleneagle for comfirmation. I left the office early that day but oh boy, it took us nearly 4 hours for the blood results and Alhamdulillah, I was 5 weeks pregnant then. But due to the tiredness of waiting, the excitement fade away like a flashed toilet bowl.

To my surprise, I still have this "joy stick" of mine in my work bag

And my days started to turn blue and grey after that for at least 8 weeks. I was on a very bad condition. I lost 10 kilos. I even weighted less than I was before married. Was being induced like so many times. Was being in and out the hospital for as long as I can remember. I can't take solid food, I can't drink; not even a glass of warm water. My source of energy was hurmm...nothing and was bedridden for nearly 2 weeks. I can assure you that my KPIs were falling like a bombshell. I was on MC most of May and June. Memang nyawa-nyawa ikan. But I'm glad my husband and family were there for me when I needed them the most. Izwan was being the sweetest for taking care of me. The side of him that I've never seen before. Terharu! I can't even lift my own body what more to do wife's job. He cleans the room, make sure our room is in order, do laundry, fold the clothes and put them in the closet accordingly. He even requested to do his work at home just to make sure that I was ok. Terharu lagi! And my mother was the strongest person I've ever met making sure that I got all the nutrition that I needed. I even had to pray by sitting on a chair coz I can't stand still.

But now, Alhamdulillah, I can say that I'm fully recovered. Gained weight a bit. Baby steps! And I've shown tummy a bit. It's not even visible yet but it's growing. Baby is actively moving at night. I've yet to feel it's movement but due to the double heartbeats that I'm feeling, it's the sign of his/her movement. I'm having hard time sleeping at night though due to his/her activeness and I have to sometimes talk to her/him during office hour to allow me to do work peacefully. So far, he/she has been the most understanding baby I've known (chewahh!) tapi kadang-kadang tuh active juga!

Izwan has been talking a lot with the baby. Every night before sleep. Payah juga nak melayan bapak and anak bersembang. But that's the part and parcel of being a mom right? And it's a good thing. I'm not complaining.

I registered myself with both private and government hospitals. I went to both for check-ups. Obviously, the private hospital is giving me a lot more compared to the government one. We'll see how it goes.

Here are the pictures from the baby scan.

This was taken during the 9th Week. He/She was actively moving when the doctor was scanning. He was dancing-dancing, that's what the doctor said.

And this was on the 12th week. He/She was asleep hence no movement captured. He's healthy Alhamdulillah. That's all I'm asking.

Will be having another round of check-up this Saturday. We'll see how's he/she doing. Excited!

Ok, done with the baby post. Got to continue with client's Competitive Review which high possibilities of me doing it in the morning. I'm honestly tired I even pee-ed on my bed and I'm not even kidding!

Soalan lazim seumur hidup

Padahal mengandungkan lemak. Aduhai! Itu tak kira pula kalau tiba-tiba dijangkiti kuman demam. Katanya berbadan dua. Tak pernah pula bertanya, "bilalah gamaknya tuhan nak ambil nyawa?"

The never ending questions.

So, which level are you at now? I'm honoured to announce that I'm currently at level 3 which gives me much headache and stress. The countless of same question asked by almost everyone makes it even worst. No, I'm not saying that it's wrong to ask. I mean, it's pretty normal for someone to ask if one is pregnant but....but *pause sekejap*. It's like there's no other suitable questions that can be asked apart for being pregnant, no?!

Oh, I'm still in the honeymoon stage with the husband. It's not that we are planning neither we are ready to become a parent. Kalau ada, itu rezeki. Terima dengan hati terbuka. Kalau tak ada itu maknanya tak adalah. Kalau ada, I believe you uncles & aunties will receive the good news from the mother even before my first round of medical check up. First hand lagi. She would probably forcasting the news via all kind of communicators or even makes a kenduri out of it. And you would probably be reading a post about me conceiving. Tapi tiada bukan?!

I'm not saying that it's wrong to ask tapi sekali saja pun sudah cukup memadai. Tidak gitu puan-puan?! Benda yang tidak sensatif pon boleh jadi sensitif bila tidak kena gayanya. Sigh!

Being single.....

......on every weekends is no fun at all especially when you're in the mood for some activities. This is all because your husband has to work on weekends and his weekends are your weekdays. Sigh!

While preparing for Izwan's necessities before leaving for work today (as he is leaving for F1 event and he refused to tag me along. Jealous big time!), I asked must he really go to work today? Can he just work from home? - which has been the most question asked on every possible weekends. And he replied with his every-weekend-answer; if I don't go to work today, who's going to give you money every time you go, "ling, nak 10 ringgit!".

So there I was keeping myself still.

Hey, I'm not complaining. It's just that it feels weird to have cared so much as to compare to before we were married. I never really bothered when Izwan has to work on weekends before but it seems that I do now. Hah, weird!

I guess when you are married, you will somehow..........change; emotionally.

I remember the conversation I had with kakak couple of weeks ago about me being less mengelabah at home. She said I'm more flexible now than before I was married and "cooler" as to compare to before. Izwan was saying the same thing to me last night that I'm more patience now than before, that I'm tolerable and less garang.

Ahh, people change. Some for the better and some well they become worse than ever. Age is one factor, maturity is another. It's how we want it to be. But I have to admit that marriage has changed me in some ways. Gotta agree with Izwan and kakak on that though.

And....and the good thing about being married is that your husband will put aside a sum of money for you to use in case of emergency. And in my case, everything is "case of emergency". I gotta to say that I'm loving the concept; your husband's money is your money, your money is your money ONLY! Coz I don't remember putting aside my money for my husband's case of emergency. Ahaks!

Hah, I'm bored. Toodles!

Six.

Six years ago, you sent a text message with just an Hello! I did not reply though I know it was from you. That unfamiliar phone number of yours made it so clear to me that you were serious when you said that you wanted to be my friend. Honestly, I know you wanted more than just becoming a friend; becoming my friend. Didn't I tell you that my instinct's a bitch. It never fails on me and it was right all along.

We've been through a lot together. Some were good and some were terribly bad. You have been the sweetest person I have ever met and the most annoying creature god has ever created at certain level of point. Who would have thought, that little annoying of yours has make me love you even more. You who have loved me to the highest sky, who have hated me to the deepest low and who have been the most patience while handling the psycho part of me. And with that, I'm truly grateful for I have made the right decision to stay and to fight for this relationship even when there was a time when I feel of giving up.

Six year later - today, you are the man that I married and to have this love stays forever and to grow old together with you, Insyaallah is all that I'm praying for.

There will be no more today. There will be no more celebration on remembering today but today shall remain forever as the day that you have said Hello!

Love much, your wife

Saturday and Sunday

Weekend is when your house is filled with family members enjoying 50 cucuk satay ayam together with mom's pulut hitam along with laughters and screams from your baby cousin fighting with his two older brothers.

Weekend is when you lie on bed watching the latest episode of Glee's Season 2 with your sister laughing over Puckerman's ridiculous hairdo just to impress the fat girl.

Weekend is when you get the chance to play with your husband's iPad all by yourself without the need of asking permission. Awesome!

Weekend is when you get the chance to spend your time with your husband on a date having late night dinner at a nearly closed shopping mall. All that you do is just walk, talk and do nothing.

Weekend is also the time where you get the chance to pray imam-ed by your husband. Truely blessed!

And when Monday comes, the routine of waking up in a hurry for being late for work reminded you on how blessed your weekend was. I'm thankful for still having the chance to spend my weekend with the loved ones. And how was yours?!

Happy day people! Have a great day ahead.

Cerita hunjung minggu

If you know my husband, you'll definitely know the size of his tummy. It's so obvious one could notice its' "visibility" even when one is kilometers away. No, I'm no kidding. It's something that he's proud off. He is one fella who is proud of his growing tummy. My husband is crazy that way.

He called me last Wednesday saying that he bought us bicycles. One for him and the other one is for me. I thought he was joking but when I arrived home from work, 2 bicycles were parked nicely in the kitchen. He was inspired by my father who owned a bicycle himself. Oh, my father cycled every morning. Izwan cycled every morning since then.

So yesterday we went cycling together.

We cycled the whole area of Taman Melawati to and fro. We conquered Melawati yo!

BUT!!!!!

Something bad happened this morning. Our bicycles, the 3 of us were stolen by an irresponsible buggers! Dad was furious beyond words as his favourite bicycle got stolen. He was about to get himself ready for a ride this morning when he saw our house gate was left unclosed. He remembered checking on the bicycles before performing subuh but half and hour later, the bicycles were gone. I'm sad obviously as I only got the chance to ride my bicycle once and Izwan well, he spent quite a sum of money on the bicycles. I feel sorry for him. I know he is sad too. Takde rezeki orang cakap. The bicycles which is only 4 days old were stolen by the damn buggers. I pray that those buggers will be hit by a super huge lori sampah at MRR2. Amin

I'm sad.

The last photo taken before the incident happened. Though he never expresses his sadness but I know he's sad especially when it involves something very valuable, something that you purchased with your own hard earning. The only thing that he's very into, very determined in doing was taken away only 4 days after purchasing. Takde rezeki. Ada hikmahnya kan?! But I'm still sad though on behalf of my husband. Hmm....

Hello world! I miss you

It's been a hell of a week. No one said that being a wife can be this tiring. I mean, making sure that the husband gets everything the he wants ready. By that means, the food in the tummy, the clothes in the closet and to wash everything that was left in the bakul baju. Well, I'm cooping....I'm cooping.

So far, it's still manageable. Lucky I must say that the hubs is not a fussy type of person. As long as the tummy is filled, everything else comes easy.

We've been very busy getting our room's done. He's been bringing in his stuff from his old house into the room and I have hard time arranging them as my "territory" is not that big. It has always been only one person's stuff in the room but now, since the owner has increased by one person, we'll definitely need a bigger space. Almari baju is one of them. Sigh!

We fixed the internet line too. Yey! Installed a Wifi connection in the house dan sekarang tiada lagi masalah perebutan kuasa terhadap pengguaan internet.

Oh! I think I better stop now as I am on medication. The fever decided to say hello this morning.

Goodnight world! Have a happy day tomorrow.
