Despite from being caught up with work, working around the clock, burning the midnight oil for almost three weeks now; oh yes! I've been working my ass off for client's storyboards to be submitted for an award competition or something like that, juggling two different work at the same time but I have to admit that it has by far the best month of 2011 although it has only been four months, April is indeed a pretty good month for me.
Started off with a good family dinner fully paid by kakak (itu adalah yang paling penting sekali ye kawan-kawan) and celebrating mom's birthday on the first week of the month have made my April a lovely month. To top it up, I received my confirmation letter from the company a week ago made it more memorable for the fact that my probation period is suppose to end next month. They decided to cut my probation period short and to confirm me right away with an extra token of appreciation. All praise to Allah for the rezeki. I was shocked when my GM mentioned about it as I wasn't expecting anything upon confirmation. Syukran, rezeki orang berkahwin agaknya. Another reason for a second round of big family dinner perhaps?! Sebagai balasan, bekerjalah engkau seperti anjing woof woof.
And to end my April, Insyaallah is something even more interesting as my best girls surprise me with a lovely wedding gift; two days one night stay at Legend Water Home Chalet fully sponsored by the girls, wootwoot! A pre-honeymoon trip before our actual honeymoon trip next month.
But before I can proceed with the excitement, let me "enjoy" myself working like a dog woof woof for the next two days before welcoming the long weekend break.
It's sad that I have to say goodbye to April as it has been a very good month for me but I'm looking forward for May and the rest of the months to come. I'm pretty much having good feeling that it'll be a good year for me this year Insyaallah.
