7 Wonders Of The World

as you can see, i've been updating and re-listing my Bucket List and places that i would love to visit on the right side of this blog. and one of it is to visit and witnessing the 7 wonders of the world.

for a person who is not so knowledgeable and suck at world history, my kind of 7 wonders of the world (the ones that i thought in the list) are:-

• Taj Mahal
• The Great Wall of China
• The Great Pyramid of Giza
• Grand Caynon
• The Hanging Gardens of Babylon
• The Roman Colosseum
• The Stoneage

but after doing some googling, i found out the real list and the new updated list of the 7 wonders of the world. it so happen that voting online can help to re-listing the list every year and online users have the right to vote the monuments/places to be included as the new and updated 7 wonders of the world.

history is now in the hand of the online users. what the?!!!!!!

but anywho, here are the lists of the old-original list and the new updated ones taken from here.

The Original Seven Wonders of the World:-

• The Colossus of Rhodes
• The Great Pyramid of Giza
• The Hanging Gardens of Babylon
• The Lighthouse of Alexandria
• The Mausoleum at Halicarnassus
• The Statue of Zeus at Olympia
• The Temple of Artemis at Ephesus

The New Seven Wonders of the World:-

• Chichen Itza
• Christ Redeemer
• The Great Wall of China
• Machu Picchu
• Petra, Jordan
• The Roman Colosseum
• The Taj Mahal

The Seven Natural Wonders of the World (listed by CNN in 1997):-

• Grand Canyon
• The Great Barrier Reef
• The Harbor at Rio de Janeiro
• Mt. Everest
• Northern Lights
• Paricutin Volcano
• Victoria Falls

and the latest list of The Seven Wonders of the Modern World which i think is irrelevent. i don't think they are regonized by the world organization to be listed as the "Modern World".

i guess, i am going to stick with my not-so-knowledgeable-list. i think they (my list) are generally known as the wonders of the world.
